The Insights tab in Toluna Analytics has just been updated with a fantastic new feature. The Side-by-side comparison widget allows you to compare concepts, packs, ads or claims side-by-side in a single screen, reducing evaluation time and increasing speed to insights.
Side-by-Side comparison is currently available for single-choice scale questions in projects that include Random Assignment. Harness Side-by-side to easily compare up to 12 stimuli at once and:
- Save time: Accelerate analysis by eliminating repetitive navigation between screens or questions.
- Boost clarity: See all of your stimuli in a comprehensive table for easier, more effective comparison.
- Make faster decisions: The easy-to-digest layout accelerates evaluation and helps you make faster decisions.
- Share easily: Export the Side-by-side table directly to PowerPoint or publish on a secure webpage to share.
- Get actionable insights: Quickly identify winning concepts, packs, ads or claims and increase your speed-to-action.

We have just launched a new update to Toluna Start’s new build. In case you missed them, previous updates included updates to the look and feel of the new build and adding key features like improved operational quotas, filters, and logic, as well as random assignment, piping and masking, and multimarket surveys.
This latest update adds post-launch editing of surveys, stops new build surveys from converting back to the existing build, and allows for the randomization of questions and pages.
- Post-launch editing: By pausing your survey after launch you can edit translations, filters or quotas, but these will only apply to newly completed interviews.
- No new build conversion: Surveys created and launched in the new build will no longer convert back to the existing build when launched, simplifying duplication and re-use.
- Randomizing pages and questions ensures that your insights won’t be biased by the order of the elements in your survey. This is now possible in the new build.

We have just released a fantastic new update for QProbe, our AI-powered probing feature designed to extract more detail from answers to open-ended survey questions. QProbe works in real-time during your survey to identify insufficient answers and craft personalized follow-up questions.
We have now added stimulus reading to QProbe in Toluna Start, so it can view and understand the video or images attached to each open question. Leveraging dual layers of AI, QProbe reads and interprets these stimuli as context for the original answer in order to craft personalized follow-up questions. This is especially valuable for concept, pack, ad testing, where stimulus interpretation is critical to gathering rich feedback.
QProbe digs deeper to improve the level of insight provided by open-ended responses, with a 65-90% success rate. Create a new survey to start using QProbe now.
