We have just released a fantastic new update for QProbe, our AI-powered probing feature designed to extract more detail from answers to open-ended survey questions. QProbe works in real-time during your survey to identify insufficient answers and craft personalized follow-up questions.  

We have now added stimulus reading to QProbe in Toluna Start, so it can view and understand the video or images attached to each open question. Leveraging dual layers of AI, QProbe reads and interprets these stimuli as context for the original answer in order to craft personalized follow-up questions. This is especially valuable for concept, pack, ad testing, where stimulus interpretation is critical to gathering rich feedback. 

QProbe digs deeper to improve the level of insight provided by open-ended responses, with a 65-90% success rate. Create a new survey to start using QProbe now.

We’ve just launched the next phase of Toluna Start New Build! Our previous update introduced a fresh new look along with key features like operational quotas, filters/logic, and random assignment. We have now launched another update for the New Build, making multimarket surveys and Piping and Masking available in New Build.

• Direct translations access – The translations modal is now easily accessible from the left-hand navigation panel.
• Flexible translations management – Manually input translations or import/export files, with copy-paste functionality for efficient text transfer.

• Comprehensive reporting – Access cumulative or individual culture reports directly from ‘My Projects,’ with culture-level reports available for serviced surveys.

Piping and masking in New Build offer an easier and faster setup, more visibility and control, efficient testing and validation and ultimately, stronger data quality. 

• Automated pre-code transfers – Pre-codes from source questions automatically transfer to target questions when using Masking or Reverse Masking.
• Dedicated setup controls – A new Piping/Masking icon simplifies setup, letting users define and apply these features with ease.
• Enhanced visibility – Clear visual indicators label piped/masked options, source questions, and applied features for better tracking.
• Real-time validation – Preview mode updates instantly to confirm correct display before launch.
• Built-in safeguards – In-platform warnings alert users to potential impacts when modifying questions with these features.

On October 23, 2024, we added several visualization, customization and sharing features to Insights in Toluna Analytics. This upgrade introduces a more modern look and feel to Insights and enables clearer, more efficient reporting for our clients.

• Update the appearance of your reports and represent your data as modern bar, stacked bar, and pie charts.
• Customize your report by adding text and images and adjusting the size and position of any element of the report.
